We are now taking disabled and elderly clients. Call Mike to see how you and your church can help! 715-325-3060 Our Goal As a non-profit tax-exempt organization we wish to provide a pro-life alternative to all ages and circumstances of life. Value has once again been placed on life because love and care is given. Our Program We offer 24 hour care and housing in a family home of love and respect. Michael and Colleen Schedgick our houseparent directors have been in the ministry of helping people their whole married lives. Housing over five hundred in their home since they were married. Serving Since 1986 Beth-birei Maternity Home is now in its 23rd year of operation. We have had the opportunity to help over three hundred-and-fifty women in those years. We are now offering help and hope to adults in need of care and support. We are here because pro-life people care and support our home. Yes, we need help! Your contributions are appreciated and tax-deductible. A Proven Track Record I believe our organization has a proven track record. We started with nothing in 1986, except a vision to provide a real pro-life alternative. We need to increase our budget. Due to loosing funding this year we are increasing our coffee fundraisers. Just send us a donation and Mike will send you one pound of our own Morning Glory Blend coffee just indicate ground or whole bean and regular or decaf. Ask Mike about A "Coffee With a Purpose" informational and fundraiser for your church or group. Mike will roast and brew the coffee. Our Founders Mike and Colleen Schedgick are long time pro-life activists. Parents of 9 children, 3 biological and 6 adopted - some with special needs. They lived next door to an abortion clinic by choice. Mike has organized rallies, marches, rescues and speaks on behalf of pre-born babies on national radio, television, newspapers and in lectures. He and his wife have admitted they have the gift of "radical hospitality." They have housed over 500 people throughout the years of their marriage. Mike's real passion is to serve God by loving his wife, children and providing alternatives for woman and babies like Beth-berei Maternity Home. He has shared his wisdom learned over the years with many organizations wanting to start housing ministries. Mike, Colleen and children lived at Beth-berei from 1986 until 1994. Now, Mike serves as our executive director and Colleen serves as director. Why? "It's simply the right thing to do". |
