Welcome to Beth-Birei

Beth-birei has been a service organization since 1986. Our home was born out of the pro-life movement. Originally we provided housing and care to single moms and their babies. In recent years the need for such homes has greatly decreased. Our referrals from pro-life and social service organizations were non-existent. We did surveys and interviews with groups involved with single moms. The result was clients would rather seek services from local helping centers rather than a live in program. When we started our home that was not the case, it is a shift in our culture.

This left us in a need to either close our doors or redefine our purpose. The pro-life movement is a movement that places value on all life from conception to death. With that in mind we began to pray and wonder what was next for Beth-birei. We did not want to just stop providing services. We have a lovely facility and wanted to see it used. We saw an ad looking for adult family homes we became licensed and opened our doors to handicapped and elderly adults. Now we wish to expand our services to this target group by providing day services and a senior care program. Our goal is to give care givers a needed respite and allow the elderly to be independent in their own homes as long as possible. Some services include Day Care in our home, respite care in your home, help with personal care, light housekeeping, cooking, laundry, minor repair projects, painting, shopping and more.
